Upon receiving an enquiry for our services we shall arrange for a meet and greet with yourselves and your pets. This gives you the chance to get to know us, tell us about what care you need, and ask any questions you may have.
We cater for dogs who need regular and occasional walks.
Our schedule is done every Friday for the following week, so to guarantee your space it is always best to let us know by then.
We try our best to be as accommodating as possible, and leave a few slots open in our group walks to accommodate any last-minute bookings. We can't always guarantee these spaces will be available, but will do our best to try and fit you in.
Dog Walking & Pet Visits -
As we do like to help those that need us last minute, we do need to know of any cancellations in good time. Therefore, we ask that any cancellations are made by the day before the booking. Same day cancellations will be charged at full price.
Depending on the circumstances, these charges may also apply if we arrive and are not able to carry out our service. For example, if we are not able to access your property, or your dog is not at home when we come to pick up. We will try and reschedule your walk for later that day, but cannot always guarantee this will be possible.
Home Boarding -
Home boarding stays are booked in advance, and often means that we do turn away bookings to accommodate yours. Therefore, we ask that we are given at least 1 weeks (7 days) notice of any changes that need to be made for these bookings. After this time, we will charge at 50% of the booking.
In the event that we need to provide an alternative service, these shall be charged at the rate of the alternative service. For example, during extreme weather conditions where walks cannot take place, we may offer pet visits instead which would be charged at the pet visit price of £6.00.
We endeavor to do our invoicing at the end of each week on a Friday. These invoices are inclusive of any walks and visits carried out on that Friday also. We allow 7 days on our invoices. Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash.
It's really important to us that our owners have one main point of contact. Please call Helen on 07530 987187 with any queries that you may have. The best time for this is between 3:30pm and 6:30pm, as Helen also walks full time and may not always be able to answer whilst out with the dogs.
This does mean that we are unable to provide daily updates after each walk due to the number of dogs we walk each day. We will endeavor to update each owner regularly to let them know how their pets are getting on. However, please do feel free to get in touch and ask for an update!
We are trying our best to be more pro-active with our social media posts, so although we don't send images after each walk owners can pop over to our Facebook and Instagram pages to check what their doggies have been up to whilst out with us.
To protect ourselves and our doggies, we don't post until the end of the day when all walks are finished. Likewise, no images from our pet visits or home boarding stays will be posted until owners are back from their time away.
Our insurance is with Pet Business Insurance. These are available to view upon request. This also includes Public Liability insurance.
As with most insurance providers, our insurance covers us to walk up to 6 dogs in a group per walker.
We take every precaution to ensure your pets are safe whilst in our care. Should your pet need medical attention we shall take them to the vets for immediate care and contact yourselves and our insurance provider.
